Animonda Integra Protect – Balanced diet for insufficient kidney performance
Many older cats get problems with the kidneys. Since chronic renal insufficiency is not curable, care should be taken in addition to the therapy of the veterinarian, a balanced and suitable diet. Integra Protect kidney has been specially developed for cats with chronic renal insufficiency. With a lower supply of protein, the amount of protein degradation products to be eliminated is reduced. As a result, less urea is formed in the body, so that the cat feels less sick. The food contains no grain, making it suitable for cats with grain intolerance.
What does renal insufficiency mean?
The kidneys play a crucial role in the elimination of metabolism degradation products. Renal insufficiency is a limitation, or loss of kidney function. Consequently, toxic waste products accumulate. Chronic renal insufficiency (CNI) causes irreversible loss of kidney function. This can bring a variety of symptoms.
